Entry#5

“Weather you think you can or you think you can’t. Either way your right.”

Henry Ford was born on July 30, 1863. When he was 13 years old, he started taking things apart and putting them back together, little did he know that sparked his career. Fords friends and family, in his small farm town near Dearborn Michigan always kept him busy by giving him things to fix. At the age of 16, he left home to go to Detroit to be a machinist in an apprenticeship. Hennery Ford founded the Ford Motor Company in 1903. 5 years later, he created the Ford model T car in 1908. Then went onto develop the production assemble line, which shaped the motor industry. Ford set his mind to his goals, and achieved what he was reaching for. He never said he couldn’t, therefor he always kept a positive mindset and reached his goal.  I was given an opportunity to start waitressing a few months back. I backed out knowing I couldn’t do it, thinking I would drop a tray or get an order wrong.  For weeks I continued my hosting position, then one day, my boss told me I was starting my training, a few hours before being thrown onto the floor, I began to think positively about it, and the upsides about waitressing. My mindset was to get through the day, and I did, with flying colors. I am now succeeding, having changed over to waitressing full time. Having a positive attitude and mindset in the things you do, can highly effect the out come of the situation.
